As a US citizen, no matter what I earn I still have to pay capital gains taxes to the US (even on assets that were never in the USA). And if I work for a US company, I still have to pay social security and state unemployment insurance taxes.

He may live in Germany and be German, but if he is also a US citizen then his is a US taxpayer (unlike other nationalities, Americans have to pay even if they do not live in America).

Apple has more than 40,000 US employees... not to mention all the software companies and related fields that are there because of Apple.... and all the business near Apple HQ in Cupertino that rely on Apple employes spending money.

The article is completely honest. I was in Bandar Abbas last month and shopped in the markets, ate in restaurants and spoke to people about the political situation. I recognized most of the places the pictures were taken. Have you been to Bandar Abbas and talked to the people there?

I was in Bandar Abbas last month, so this article hit home and matched my experience talking to people there. It is always the innocent people who suffer at the hands of governments... Iranian and American both.
